Tian You (T.Y.) was born with his bladder on the outside of his body and other related birth defects and was abandoned on the street. After the hospital, in the town where he was born, sent him back to the orphanage to die, T.Y. was brought to Blue Sky Healing Home near Beijing for medical assistance. T.Y. has had at least two surgeries, and will need several more. Funds are needed to provide for his medical care. He is a precious little boy with great potential, and an American family has expressed an interest in adopting him when his medical condition is stabilized. Many infants born with birth defects, who would be cherished and embraced in the United States, are abandoned and allowed to die without needed intervention in third world countries because of limited resources.
