The mission of Founding Family Charitable Foundation (FFCF) is to strengthen and preserve the American spirit and expand the “American Dream” to American families and international children in need. We will extend our outreach to any country in the world, including American orphans. We also request a commitment from adoptive parents to ‘raise their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.’ Our goal is to help dedicated American families who serve their communities and country (by serving in the military, by teaching our children, by caring for our sick, by ministering to the spiritual needs of our people, etc.) to be able to afford to adopt. These public servants sometimes have a harder time saving the $15,000 to $20,000 in initial fees needed to adopt, and a modest grant can mean the difference between being able to adopt or not. FFCF will award grants (generally $1,000 to $3,000) to adopting families showing financial need after they have been approved to adopt by a licensed adoption agency. The grant is sent directly to the agency for the benefit of the adopting family. If for some reason, the adoption is not finalized, the agency should return the grant money to FFCF. We also want to provide medical help and sponsorship for children without parents in the hope that they may be adopted. If they can’t be adopted and must live in an orphanage or with a foster family, we want to help them have a better life wherever they live. We look to God for guidance on where our gift dollars should be spent. FFCF will also help adopting families by providing limited peer support during adoptions. Our Grant Administrator has adopted a child from China and understands the roller coaster ride of emotional highs and lows during the adoption process. At some point, we hope to facilitate support groups of adoptive parents. Mailing Address: Office: Updated 10-04-06 FFCF is a 501(c)(3) corporation.
