Current Needs
Current Needs

Funding for more adoption grants. The number of applications is increasing and we have had to turn down several deserving families for lack of funds.  These courageous and loving families need support to bring their children home.

Support for the Children of Promise project.  We are very excited about a project Phillip and Mary Margaret Morrison have started.  Phillip has gone to Israel for many years at Christmas time and taken gifts and money for gifts and medical supplies to several children’s hospitals.  He would like to expand the ministry year round. The needs are great and we have several ‘trusted servants’ on the ground in Israel right now who are able to directly supervise the distribution of food and medical items.  Our desired monthly budget for this project is $5,000.

$20,000 for doors and windows for the new building, hiring of 2 teachers, benches, tables, & library books for the Grace Home School in India. As always seems to happen, construction costs were more than anticipated, and the initial estimation did not cover everything.  We are raising money for the shortfall.  We are very grateful to the foundation who gave us a grant for a computer lab for the school.  The Grace Home School has the potential to be a model school in the area and we are very excited about what has been accomplished so far.

Vehicle for the Grace Home School ($10,000-20,000). The school needs a vehicle to pick up village children, who will pay a small tuition, so that the school can be self supporting.  At the present time, the only vehicle they have for the staff and over 90 children is a motorcycle.  The administrator used to use the motorcycle to go to mountain tribal areas to take medicines and supplies.  But he developed an arthritic condition from the bumpy ride and was told by his doctor to stay off the cycle.
